Call for IBIS related patent disclosures: - None Call for opens: - None Review of previous meeting minutes: No attendee had received minutes from the July 27, 2021 and August 3 meeting, nor the agenda for this meeting. AR: Mike LaBonte to resend recent meeting minutes and check with postmaster on list issues ARs: - AR: Bob Ross to post IBISCHK BUG218 for source code issue Done. This had been reviewed in the Open Forum. - AR: Mike LaBonte to build and post TSCHK2.0.1 to WIP folder In progress. NEW ITEMS: New parser bug reports: Bob Ross said the IBISCHK developer had reported that some keywords such as [Interconnect Model] did not allow a space in the name after the keyword, but that would not be flagged by IBISCHK. Bob was waiting for a testcase to write a bug report. Bob said Curtis Clark had reported a coding error. Mike LaBonte showed the email from Curtis. On line 534 of imsmdl.c, "pTerminal->eTYpe" must be "pTerminal->eType" to compile successfully. Mike said it appeared that the compiler error would happen only if IBIS_PRINT was defined, which apparently was not the normal case. Bob said this would be fixed in the current development. AR: Mike LaBonte to write bug for IBISCHK pTerminal->eTYpe error IBISCHK710 development: Bob Ross reported that there was no new progress update on IBISCHK710 since the previous week. He had not yet received an interim code drop. That was not considered urgent. Mike asked if a regression test should be added for IBIS_PRINT. That would involve compiling a second IBISCHK with different settings. Lance Wang asked how the code was able to compile with the error that had been reported. Mike said the erroneous code was probably ifdef'd out. TSCHK201 development: Mike LaBonte said he was still struggling to compile the new tschk for 32 bit Windows. He was encountering a link error in which the linker thought x64 had been requested. Mike showed the Microsoft Visual Studio project. The error was: >Debug\tschk2.obj : fatal error LNK1112: module machine type 'x86' conflicts with target machine type 'x64' Mike said he would seek help if necessary to solve the problem. He noted that the software needed to be publicly available at the time of his presentation about it in the August 12 summit. Tabled topics (no discussion without motion): - BIRD181.2 - IBISCHK security fixes Randy Wolff moved to adjourn. Lance Wang seconded. Without objection the meeting ended.
